Klaus has worked at KONE from 1983 and was a member of the Group Executive Board from 1991 until 2021. Currently, he serves as Executive Advisor at KONE as well as on the boards of Metso Outotec (Vice Chair), East Office of Finnish Industries Ltd, Toshiba Elevator and Building Systems Corporation (Japan) and Ahlström Capital Oy.
